The desktop disinfection device consists of three parts, the main body and the lamp and remote control. In order for the radiation to be effective, the size of the room, the ceiling height and the place where the device will be placed must be taken into consideration. It is assumed that a device will be effective in an area of approximately 25 m2 in a place with a normal ceiling height (2.5-3 m). As the space grows, the number of devices used will need to be increased. Since the effect of UVC rays will decrease as the distance increases, the disinfection device should be placed as close to the center of the room as possible and away from objects that would prevent the spread of the rays. It should not be forgotten that UVC rays are effective only in the areas they see. For example, rays reaching on a table and disinfecting cannot see the bottom of the table and cannot be effective in this area. In order to obtain a more effective disinfection during use, ensuring the movement of the air mass in the environment will increase the efficiency. Direct exposure to UV rays is harmful to human health. It is very important that you take care not to live in the environment while the device is operating. For this reason, it is recommended to use the controller supplied with the device, and to switch on and off via this controller.
Installing the UVC Lamp and Operating the Device
The device comes in three parts: the main body and the lamp and the remote control. First, remove the main body and place it in a position that will be irradiated and close to the midpoint of the room. Then gently insert the four-pin end of the lamp out of the box into the lamp holder in the middle of the main body. After making sure that the pins on the end of the lamp are firmly in place, plug the device’s power cord into a 220V power outlet. Take the remote control and if you see the device, operate the lamp with the aid of the control provided that it is at least 6 meters away from the device or leave the room. Use the C key in the third row on the remote control. It will give a blue light when the lamp works. Turn the device off using the remote control before entering the device.
Maintenance and Warranty of the Disinfection Device
You do not need to perform any maintenance on the main unit. It is recommended to clean the UVC lamp periodically. For cleaning, it will be enough to remove the dust accumulated on the lamp with a soft cloth. The lifetime of the bulb is 9000 hours. It is recommended to calculate the date you need to replace the bulb by calculating your approximate usage time. The main body and mechanical parts are guaranteed for one year against manufacturing defects. We wish you to use your device on healthy days.
